HOW TO WASH SLIK?
Silk will take care of us if we take care of her.
You are here now to learn how to take care of it to make it last.
* The fact is that silk does not like water because, with each wash with water, it loses strength and shine. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take silk products to the nearest dry cleaner's, where they will take the best care of her. Therefore, we "officially" advise you only dry cleaning.
But if this is not an option for you, you can still wash it yourself at home. However, improper handling of the material quickly causes it to lose its luster, shape, and color.
* ALWAYS use ph neutral liquid detergent and fabric softener. Silk is a natural fiber and washing in a solution that is too acidic or alkaline can cause the silk to harden in a single wash. Do not use bleach products.
* Another important factor is the water temperature. Even a little over 30 degrees Celsius can greatly change silk. So wash it by hand in cold water.
* Air drying. But be careful not to expose the silk to the sun, as it can lose its true color.
